Campaspe Country House embraces local artists - this winter featuring Stephen Falzon in our Dining Room

Stephen was very much influenced by the works of the early Australian impressionists such as Sir Arthur Streeton and Tom Roberts. As a Land Surveyor he has been exposed to the beauty and ruggedness of the Australian Landscape in his every day work and has learned to observe with one eye on the theodolite and the other on mother nature. Stephen apart from his love of art believes strongly in making art accessible to the public.

Bress Winery Dinner - Saturday 11th September

Adam Marks, Wine Maker of Bress Winery has selected his best range of wines to match Head Chef, Steffen Jensen’s 5 course degustation dinner. Celebrate the fantastic wine and produce the Macedon Ranges has to offer! $100 per person including wines.

Budburst at Campaspe Country House - Sunday 14th November

Historic Campaspe House in Woodend is host to five wineries: Chanters Ridge, Curly Flat, Ellender Estate, Gisborne Peak and Mount Gisborne. Set amongst the delightful Edna Walling gardens will be food, wine and music. You are invited to ‘Budburst Brunch & Bubbles’ starting at 10:00 a.m. to partake in the Breakfast Tapas along with a glass of sparkling wine. Chef Steffen is featuring gourmet tapas throughout the day and a symphony of house desserts is also available. Tours of the Garden will be conducted throughout the day by the resident gardener. Music by Myles White and Mood Swing, starting at 10:30 a.m. A perfect setting for a perfect day.   In case of inclement weather the wineries and music will be available inside the homestead. 

Granite Hills Winery Dinner - February 2011

Old and new vintage wine dinner. Keep warm this winter at Campaspe House and join us for our 5 course degustation dinner celebrating Granite Hills old and new vintages.  $100 per person or $420 per double for the dinner, bed and breakfast.Bookings essential.
